The images I have painted sample the aspects of my life that are both commonplace and also revealing of what makes me unique. I want to use my practice as a way to reveal who I am, how I express emotion, and how I present myself to the world. Furthermore, I want the viewer to hopefully feel what I am feeling or even relate to the feeling that I am trying to convey. I kept the images simple and direct like a snapshot on snapchat leaving the narrative details to the viewer’s imagination.
